PRETTYFUNKDUB is Jesse Turcotte's solo live-looping project: a laid-back, vintage-vibed blend of instrumental lo-fi funk, reggae, dub, old-school hip-hop, and soul. Jesse has been a working PNW musician since 1998. This project lets him build a solo full-band sound with guitar, bass, keys, percussion, curated vintage drum loops, and Ableton Live. Instead of a Spotify catalog, the proof lives in long-form YouTube sets and recurring local gigs. You'll see an active calendar around Tacoma, Packwood, Crystal Mountain, Woodinville, North Bend, Des Moines, and Cider & Cedar.
